TUNEX BLAZE 15 TX 1525D2 2500W RMS SUBWOOFER
THE NEW GENERATION BLAZE 15. MORE MOTOR. MORE CONTROL. BUILT FOR SERIOUS BASS.
The new Tunex Blaze 15 TX 1525D2 takes the Blaze platform further with an upgraded high roll surround, powerful strontium magnet structure and heavy duty suspension system.
Rated at an impressive 2500W RMS and 5000W MAX, the Blaze 15 is designed for enthusiasts who want serious output, strong low frequency authority and a subwoofer capable of handling demanding high power systems.
With a 3 inch four layer high temperature copper voice coil, triple stacked 300 oz strontium magnet structure, quad spider suspension and Kevlar fibre reinforced cone, this is a subwoofer built to be pushed.
2500W RMS. 15 INCH CONE. DUAL 2 OHM. BUILT TO MOVE SERIOUS AIR.
THE NEW BLAZE 15
The latest Blaze 15 has been upgraded where it matters.
The new design features an improved high roll multilayer foam surround, allowing greater controlled movement while supporting the cone during demanding bass playback.
The motor structure has also been upgraded with three large strontium magnets, giving the Blaze 15 a serious foundation for high output performance.
The result is a subwoofer built for systems where bass needs to be felt, not just heard.
2500W RMS POWER HANDLING
The TX 1525D2 is rated at:
2500W RMS
5000W MAX
At the heart of the subwoofer is a 3 inch four layer high temperature copper voice coil designed to handle substantial amplifier power.
But power handling is only part of the equation.
The voice coil works together with the large magnet structure, suspension, cone and cooling system to provide the control required when the subwoofer is being driven hard.
IF YOU ARE BUILDING A SERIOUS HIGH POWER BASS SYSTEM, THE BLAZE 15 IS BUILT FOR IT.
TRIPLE STACKED STRONTIUM MAGNET STRUCTURE
The Blaze 15 uses three 220 mm x 20 mm strontium magnets with a combined 300 oz magnet structure.
This substantial motor assembly works with the 3 inch voice coil to provide the force required to control the heavy duty 15 inch moving assembly.
A 20 mm thick top plate and one piece T yoke further strengthen the motor structure.
A POWERFUL SUBWOOFER STARTS WITH A SERIOUS MOTOR.
IMPROVED HIGH ROLL SURROUND
The upgraded high roll multilayer foam surround gives the cone the freedom required for substantial movement while helping maintain control.
Blue stitching adds additional reinforcement while matching the signature Blaze appearance.
With ±15 mm linear excursion, the TX 1525D2 has the movement required to shift serious amounts of air.
MORE CONTROLLED CONE MOVEMENT MEANS MORE POTENTIAL BASS OUTPUT.
KEVLAR FIBRE REINFORCED CONE
The Blaze 15 uses a Kevlar fibre reinforced non press paper cone.
Paper remains an excellent material for subwoofer cones because of its combination of weight and acoustic characteristics, while Kevlar reinforcement helps strengthen the cone for demanding high output operation.
The result is a large 15 inch cone designed to remain controlled while moving significant amounts of air.
QUAD SPIDER SUSPENSION
Controlling a powerful moving assembly requires a serious suspension system.
The TX 1525D2 uses four black polycotton spiders to help control the voice coil and cone throughout their movement.
This provides additional suspension support during demanding high power playback.
Combined with the improved high roll surround, the quad spider system forms the foundation for controlled excursion.
HEAVY DUTY DIE CAST BASKET
The entire moving assembly is supported by a rigid die cast basket.
The basket features Tunex's distinctive hydro dipped blue finish, giving the Blaze its aggressive appearance while providing the structural foundation required for a high power subwoofer.
This is a subwoofer designed to look as serious as the system it is going into.
DUAL 2 OHM VOICE COIL
The TX 1525D2 features a Dual 2 Ohm voice coil configuration.
This provides two useful final wiring options for a single subwoofer:
1 Ohm Parallel
4 Ohm Series
This gives you flexibility when matching the Blaze 15 with a suitable high power mono amplifier.
If you are running multiple Blaze 15 subwoofers, amplifier impedance and wiring configuration become even more important.
BUILT FOR SERIOUS BASS SYSTEMS
The Blaze 15 is designed for enthusiasts looking for:
• Extreme bass output
• 2500W RMS power handling
• High power mono amplifier systems
• Strong low frequency performance
• Large custom ported enclosures
• Competition inspired audio builds
• Daily systems with serious bass capability
• Multiple subwoofer installations
• A bass system that gets noticed
This is not intended to be a small factory audio upgrade.
THE BLAZE 15 IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT THEIR BASS SYSTEM TO MAKE A STATEMENT.
THE ENCLOSURE MATTERS
A subwoofer with this level of capability needs the correct enclosure.
Box volume, port area and tuning frequency can completely change how the Blaze 15 performs.
A properly designed enclosure can help achieve:
• Stronger low frequency output
• Better cone control
• Higher usable output
• The bass response you actually want
• Better overall system performance
Do not choose an enclosure simply because the subwoofer physically fits inside it.
BUILD THE ENCLOSURE AROUND THE SUBWOOFER AND THE RESULT YOU WANT.
YOUR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM MATTERS TOO
A 2500W RMS bass system can place serious demand on a vehicle's electrical system.
Depending on your amplifier and complete system, you may need to consider:
• 0 Gauge OFC power wiring
• Big 3 electrical upgrade
• Upgraded battery capacity
• High output alternator
• Correct fuse protection
• Proper grounding
• Voltage monitoring
Giving your amplifier proper electrical support helps you get more of the performance you paid for.

BUILD THE BLAZE SYSTEM PROPERLY
A 2500W RMS subwoofer needs more than a big amplifier.
The complete system should be designed around:
Subwoofer
Enclosure
Amplifier
Impedance
Power wiring
Battery
Charging system
DSP and crossover settings
Correct gain structure
Get the complete system right and the Blaze 15 can deliver the kind of deep, aggressive bass and physical impact it was built for.
