Saddlebag subwoofers can add the low-frequency impact that small factory speakers simply cannot reproduce.

Can you upgrade the audio system in newer Harley-Davidson motorcycles?
Yes. The exact upgrade method depends on the model, factory amplifier, infotainment system and existing speaker configuration. We recommend identifying the factory system before selecting aftermarket equipment.
Will my Harley need a bigger battery?
Not necessarily. It depends on amplifier power, system demand, charging capability and how the system will be used. Higher-output systems may benefit from upgraded electrical support.
Can you install subwoofers in Harley saddlebags?
Yes, depending on the bike and intended system design. Saddlebag subwoofers can dramatically improve low-frequency output, although the installation will use some available saddlebag space.
Will the audio still be clear with a loud exhaust?
A correctly designed system can significantly improve clarity and projection over a basic speaker upgrade. Speaker efficiency, amplifier power, positioning and DSP tuning all become particularly important on bikes with louder exhaust systems.
