Tunex Audio is a New Zealand car and motorcycle audio brand focused on high performance sound, professional installation and intelligent system design.

We began developing our first Tunex car audio subwoofers in 2019. Since then, we've continued developing our own products while working with specialist audio brands, manufacturers and installers from around the world.

But Tunex isn't just about selling equipment.

We design the complete system around the result you want.

 is MECP Certified and has invested in specialist training and education in the                           United States, including attending Mastertech EXPO 2026 in Arizona,USA. 

Further specialist motorcycle-audio training with Carlos Ramirez of NVS Audio Roselle,NJ has helped us bring advanced motorcycle audio techniques and system design knowledge back to New Zealand.

Tunex products are developed and specified in Auckland, New Zealand, using carefully selected components and manufacturing resources from around the world.

Better Wiring

A high performance system needs a strong electrical foundation.

We use quality Oxygen Free Copper wiring where appropriate to help provide reliable current delivery and long-term durability.

Proper Sound Treatment

Sound treatment helps reduce unwanted vibration and resonance so more of what you hear comes from the speakers  not the vehicle panels around them.

The result can be a cleaner, tighter and more controlled system.

DSP Tuning

Buying good speakers doesn't automatically give you good sound.

DSP allows us to correctly configure crossovers, equalisation, levels, time alignment and speaker protection so the entire system works together.

That's how you turn good equipment into a properly tuned audio system.

OEM Integration

Modern vehicles can have complicated factory amplifiers, infotainment systems and signal processing.

We take the time to understand what's already in the vehicle before integrating aftermarket equipment.

The goal is simple:
